Launceston Street Scenes

Launceston is now my home. I have had many moves around Australia for work including Western Auatralia and Queensland but have finally come home to the place I want to remain. Here, I live on a post Federation old weatherboard house and I walk the streets endlessly in search of new subject matter for painting. Launceston is another place where old world buildings abound and I find them a fascinating and challenging backdrop for the business of constantly bustling traffic of the central streets. In contrast I also enjoy the old houses on quiet backstreets as subjects.
